Self Storage Do’s and Don’ts:

  • Make sure your goods are dry when put into the storage unit.

  • Cover mattresses and lounge furniture with cotton sheets prior to putting them into the storage units, not plastic.

  • Place a drip tray under any motor being stored in the self storage unit after draining all of the fuel out.
  • Empty all water from fridges and washing machines prior to bringing them to the storage facility, and leave them open to avoid mildew problems.
  • Supervise your children while at the self storage facility.

  • Do not put carpet on the floor of the storage unit.

  • Do not store firearms, flammable materials such as fuel cans, paint or gas cylinders in the storage unit.

  • Do not smoke in the storage units, storage containers or office.

  • Do not store foodstuffs or perishables in your self storage unit or container.

  • Do not bring dogs into the storage depot.

Transporting your goods

Transporting your goods to and from the self storage facility can be done using your own vehicle & trailer or hiring a small enclosed truck, or with a removalist. There is room for large interstate removal trucks in most areas of the depot. If coming from, or going interstate, it is best to advise us and we will arrange a suitable storage unit.

Insurance

Insurance of your goods while in the self storage units can be arranged at the office. Please ask for details.
